Hi! I’m Sophie!

If you’re here, you may be recently engaged - congratulations! Or maybe just looking, and that’s okay too!

I am a Hawke’s Bay local with a passion for people, stories, language and love. I grew up in Napier, left for 10 years to study, travel and work, and now live here again with my husband, Tim, and two little boys Harry and Toby. So stoked to be back home. Isn’t it beautiful here?!

I became a celebrant because my brother really needed one for his wedding (it was a bit last minute!), but I have since fallen in love with the whole wedding industry. My philosophy is that the ceremony is one of the most important moments of your life, not just your wedding day, so it better be done right. Over the years, I have honed my approach to weddings so you feel supported, guided and informed about the whole ceremony biz from our first meeting until I say “I may now pronounce you…!” (And, hopefully I make it fun for you too!) The teacher in me is very present in how I manage your ceremony journey: think resources, organised folders, and colour coded highlighters.

In between mum-life and celebranting, I love spending an afternoon at a winery in the sun with some mates, reading and watching sport with my guys (we’re really into darts at the moment!)

If you like the sound of me, please get in touch for a free meet and greet to see whether I’m your kind of vibe!
